Trauma Sensitive Yoga for Men


3 week series for Men    

June 10, 17, 24th  

Monday evenings from 5:30-6:30 PM 

Through movement and breath you will have the opportunity to explore a felt sense of your body, practice making choices, and practice taking effective action based on what you feel. We will experiment with moving, breathing, strengthening, stretching, and resting. This series is set up so that students are in control over what they are doing with their body at all times and the teacher is there to provide safe, professional guidance and to help students focus on particular dynamics (what muscles they are using, what if feels like to have their feet on the ground, what it feels like to breathe, etc). There are NO hands on assists. This 3 class gentle Hatha yoga series is specifically for men who struggle with ongoing stress or have experienced trauma / PTSD.
