During our busy, distracted days we might struggle to connect with ourselves. Many yoga classes focus on external forms or how the form looks on the outside, during this gentle hatha yoga series your welcome to focus on how yoga forms feel internally and you will have an opportunity to make choices based on what you notice in your own body. Through movement, breath, stretching, and resting you will be invited to reconnect with your body and your true self in the present moment. 

The facilitator will be online live with you in every session.

Reclaiming Your Body Through Movement 
A Series for Women

Reclaiming Your Body Through Movement is a gentle hatha yoga practice for women who have suffer from on going stress, Trauma or PTSD. The series consists of gentle movements, simple postures and breath awareness. Though out the sessions, participants will have an opportunity to explore moving, breathing, strengthening, stretching, and resting. Participants will have an opportunity to notice sensations in their body and make choices based on what they feel. This series is set up so that participants are in control over what they are doing with their body at all times and the facilitator is there to provide safe, professional guidance and to help students focus on particular dynamics (what muscles they are using, what if feels like to have their feet on the ground, what it feels like to breathe, etc). Everything in the class is optional and it is beginner friendly. We strive to make the series accessible to everyone regardless of physical ability. There are NO hands on assists.

Please note once the series starts it will close and no new participants will admitted to the series.

TCTSY Adult, Adolescent or Preteen Private Sessions 

Facilitated by Keri Sawyer, RYT 500 TCTSY T

TCTSY Privates are one on one sessions for adults, adolescents or pre-teens struggling with Complex/developmental trauma and/or PTSD. Our private sessions offer  clients a safe environment to start to explore a felt sense of their body through noticing muscluar dynamics, practice making choices, having opportunities to practice taking effective action, and creating rhythms. During private sessions we can experiment with moving, breathing, strengthening, stretching, and resting. With certified professional guidance, we offer a safe and predicable environment with NO hands on assists.

Alignment Yoga Offerings

Yoga Fundamentals

Thursday's 9-10:15 PM @ Tula Movement Arts, Bend OR 


Yoga Fundamentals provides a combination of healthy alignment and the freedom to explore within familiar and new forms. From beginners to seasoned practitioners, this class hopes to broaden the range of capabilities of each person through the instruction on alignment and breath. We will focus on building strength and stability in our bodies along with more mobility and flexibility in movement. You will have the opportunity to gain a greater understanding of how your body works and form a deeper connection with yourself and your body through movement,  breath and meditation. All bodies welcome. Yoga Fundamentals is an ongoing class at Tula Movement Arts in Bend OR on Thursday mornings from 9-10:15am starting in Sept 12th, 2019.
