We invite you to join us for this 4-week movement and breath series where we will explore a yoga practice that works with your own unique experiences and body and that focuses on cultivating present moment awareness and a deeper connection with yourself. At its heart and core, yoga practice is: - A path of self-study and self-discovery through cultivation of a mind-body-soul connection; - Movement meditation with a purposeful present moment awareness that allows connection with our most authentic selves and a clearing away of fear and worry from the past and about the future; - A mirror reflecting the inner landscape of the practitioner, thus revealing both layers that keep us stuck, as well as a more connected Self underneath; - A safe and sacred container for self-reflection and introspection, where growing self-awareness and mindfulness provide insight to who you really are and where you want to go; - A journey of self-discovery that influences a practitioner's relationship not only with themselves, but also how they connect with those around them; - Empowerment found, not in the perfection of a yoga form, but in the journey toward experiences of being fully present. In daily life, for most people, experiences of true present moment awareness are rare; but as you deepen into your practice, uncover layers of yourself, and choose this transformative path of bringing complete attention to the present moment over and over (this is the meditative aspect), you have the potential of creating and finding a state of flow where thoughts fade, and you become one with the practice.
