Trauma Teaches Survival. Embodiment Invites Living.
A 4-Part Trauma-Sensitive Yoga On-Demand Series with Keri Sawyer
Many of us learn to survive long before we learn how to live.
Survival is adaptive, protective, and often necessary. Yet there may come a time when we begin to wonder what becomes possible beyond surviving. What happens when we create space not only for safety, but also for connection, expression, possibility, and aliveness?
Living Embodied is an invitation to explore what it means to participate more fully in your life through the practices of embodiment, exploration, expression, and expansion. Through Trauma-Sensitive Yoga, participants are offered opportunities to reconnect with their bodies, deepen self-trust, honor their authentic experience, and create more space for possibility, connection, and vitality.
This self-paced series explores four themes:
Embodiment
Reconnecting with your body and cultivating a felt sense of presence.
Exploration
Approaching your experience with curiosity, openness, and choice.
Expression
Creating space to honor and express what is true for you.
Expansion
Opening to new possibilities and expanding into a more fully alive life.
Grounded in the principles of Trauma Center Trauma-Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY), each practice emphasizes choice, agency, and the understanding that you are the expert on your own experience.
Whether you are continuing your journey with trauma-sensitive yoga or seeking new ways to deepen your connection with yourself,
Living Embodied offers opportunities to move beyond survival and toward a life that feels more connected, meaningful, and alive.
Practice at your own pace. Honor your experience. Expand into possibility.
