Trauma Sensitive Yoga series offered with Keri Sawyer focuses on reconnecting with your body through a modified yoga practice that facilitates experiences of empowerment and cultivates a more positive relationship to your body in a safer space.

The emphasis isn't on the external expression or appearance of the yoga form but rather the focus is on the internal experience of the participant. By focusing on a felt sense of the body to inform choice making, this practice allows participants to restore their connection to their body and cultivate a sense that they can change the way their body feels that is often compromised as a result of stress or trauma.

This evidence based trauma sensitive yoga model for the Center for Trauma and Embodiment was developed by the Trauma Center in Boston MA. The program is highly researched and used worldwide.
